Welcome! Thank you for
including METALFORM in your marketing plans. You will
receive this electronic newsletter monthly to keep you up-to-date on
METALFORM activities.
Happy New Year!
METALFORM is just three short months away! Use this handy newsletter to
make sure your exhibit plans are on schedule.
Targeted Move-In Dates
METALFORM will be targeted by the general service contractor, Rosemont
Exposition Services (RES). You should have received an email from them the week
of December 11 informing you of your targeted date and time for move-in.
View the schedule here. If you have any questions regarding move in, please contact
David Houston of RES at 847-993-4654.
Complete Your Show Directory Listing Now! Deadline is January 8!
Make sure you
get maximum exposure online, as well as in the full print version of the
show directory distributed onsite. Submit your company description and
product listings, and attendees can search for your company by name,
keyword or product type. We make it easy to do with two ways to submit
your listing: fill out the
online Show
Directory Listing Form and submit it electronically, or
print it out from the Exhibitor Manual and fax it in. Please contact Pam Pirogowicz at
ppirogowicz@pma.org or call
216-901-8800 for more information.
Promote Your New Products
Introducing a new product or service at METALFORM
2007? Make plans to include
your company in the upcoming “New Products” page on the official show
website, and let attendees know what you’ve got to offer before the
show! Take advantage of this
excellent promotional opportunity – reply to
ppirogowicz@pma.org
with a brief description of the new product or service you’ll be
showcasing and
include pictures, if available.
Hold A Press Conference
Have you considered holding a press conference at METALFORM
2007 to assist in your efforts to get the word out? A press
conference is the ideal way to increase the odds that your company and
its products will receive editorial attention. If you’d like to reach
the press at METALFORM, you need to act fast ─ the deadline to submit
press conference requests is Friday, February 2. Contact
Pam Pirogowicz at 216-901-8800.

New Year’s Day Is The Time To Make Resolutions –
the promises that clarify how we want to improve our lives. I thought
I’d offer up a half dozen trade show related resolutions to help you
make this year your best exhibiting year ever.
- Make Training A Priority:
Your booth staff are your number one resource on the show floor.
This year, make sure they have every resource they need to shine!
- Clearly Define Exhibiting’s
Role in Your Marketing Structure: Only when trade shows are
fully understood and appreciated as a vital business tool will they
receive priority status.
- Only Attend Perfect Shows:
These are shows that help us meet our marketing objectives,
attract our target audience, and offer a positive ROI.
- Start Preparing Early:
Reduce stress and improve results by allowing your team enough
time to prepare for the next show. You’ll need 9-12 months to do
everything right.
- Embrace Creative Thinking:
Make this year the year you dare to do something a little
different with your exhibit. Attract attendee’s attention and you
attract sales.
- Use Appropriate Giveaways:
Leave the water bottles and tote bags behind you – unless you’re
in the water bottle or tote bag business! Instead, focus on freebies
that help reinforce your corporate image, marketing message, and
product line.
Wishing you much tradeshow success!
