What Time of Day is the Most Expensive Time to
Exhibit at a Trade Show?
If your company is like most, it's the last half hour of the
day. That's when booth staffers, tired after a long day working the
crowd, start pulling up stakes and packing to go. Recent trade show
research indicates that nearly 95% of all attendees walking the show
floor during the final thirty minutes report unattended booths, staffers
who failed to greet, much less engage, and a total lack of customer
attention. 95 Percent. That's an astronomical number -- almost every
single person still on the floor at that time. Somewhere among that 95%
could be your biggest deal of the day -- but you'll miss it if you're
rushing to pack to catch the first shuttle bus back to the hotel. Remind
your team that they need to be on the floor until the show closes. Three
types of customers linger at the end of the day, and all deserve your
attention: Read who they are
here.
10 Ways Not To
Greet Attendees:
It is critical for your staff to create a
welcoming atmosphere that makes it appealing for attendees to want to
stop at your exhibit. What you don't do can be as important as what you
do.
